Choose right processor
So which processor do you want to go with it depends on your budget.
If your budget is lower than the 20K INR and you want to buy a laptop than you can go with AMD Processors.
AMD processors are powerful in the lowest budget.
If you have a budget of 25K and above then I recommend go with only Intel processors there is no meaning if you have a budget and still want to go with AMD processor.
Intel has created different processors for different Tasks. at very first Core 2 Duo processor came & then quad core came and now the entry level of a processor is Intel Core i3, Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7 came.back to menu ↑
What is Intel Cores?
Intel core i3 has 2 core.
let me give you one example so you can understand well,
We have one mouth and have lots of pizza to eat. so We can eat as much as chew with an only one mouth. now suppose what if we have 2 mouths??
Exactly, we can eat double pizza with two mouths, same in computer processing if the processor has a dual core than it has a dual mouth. So they can process faster than one core.
So Intel Core I3 has 2 cores.
Intel Core i5 has nearby 4 cores.
Intel Core i7 has 5 to 8 cores.
If your usage is normal like you want to browse the internet, play some good movies in your laptop then go with Intel core I3.
If you have some kind of heavy usages like App development, School projects, Video editing, and you want to work with some heavy application like Adobe Photoshop, Autocad, Android studio you have to go with Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7.

How to choose RAM?
RAM stands for random access memory. RAM is short-term memory.
Processor process the data we want to access but RAM stores that data.
Suppose you open the chrome browser to surfing the internet. The data of chrome will store in the RAM processor process that data and gives you a result.
Highest RAM size = Better Multitasking
But do remember if you run 8 GB RAM in Core I3 processor than it is worthless.
If you buy Core I3 than 4 GB RAM is enough for that.
8GB RAM or 16 GB RAM suitable with Core i5 and Core i7 Processor.
I recommend go with 8 GB RAM if you have somewhat heavy usage. However, you will extend this RAM size In future if you want.
RAM has Various type of generation like:
DDR4 is the latest generation of RAM, DDR4 has more power than the DDR3 and DDR4 save machine’s battery too.
DDR4 has more read/write speed than DDR3, So try to buy the latest generation of RAM.: back to menu ↑
How to choose Hard Disk Drive(HDD)
There are 2 types of Hard Drive
- HDD(Hard Disk Drive)
- SSD(Solid State Drive)
HDD vs SSD:
|Stands for Hard disk drive||Stands for Solid State Drive|
|More Memory||Less Memory|
|Less Expensive than the SSD||Expensive|
|Read/Write Speed Slow||Read/Write Speed Fast|
Traditional Laptops uses Hard Disk Drive and The Apple Laptop Uses Solid state drive. That is why Apple laptops have more speed than traditional laptops.
I recommend go with at least 1TB Hard disk drive.
So Now you know all about the hardware side you can choose easily depend on your requirement. Now let’s talk about the Software side.back to menu ↑
There are many OS available in the market like Windows, Linux, DOS
Windows Operating System is paid OS by Microsoft. Preinstalled Windows laptops are a bit expensive than other laptops.
Linux and DOS are Open source Operating systems which are free. You will save 5k to 6k INR if you go with Linux and DOS.
Everybody buy a laptop with this free OS and then they are install pirates version of Windows. This is an illegal process, I do not recommend this kind of activities.back to menu ↑
